The Microsoft press conference at E3 2013 has now finished. You can read our quick notes from the conference below.
As it happened
The conference opens with a trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.
A new, slimmer Xbox360 is unveiled.
Gold members will get two free games to keep in Assassins Creed 2 and Halo 3.
A trailer for World of Tanks: Xbox 360 edition is shown. World of tanks is currently on PC and will be a 15v15 tank game available in the summer.
Two new games for 360 coming – Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Dark Souls II.
On to Xbox One and we’re told that more games are in development now than at any other time in the history of Xbox.
Trailer for new franchise – Ryse: Son of Rome.

Ted Price from Insomniac talks about Sunset Overdrive, an open world shooter.
Mini documentary about McLaren (leading to Forza perhaps?)
A McLaren P1 comes out the floor and a demo of Forza Motorsport 5 runs in the background as we’re told about a new AI system that drives more like humans than every before.
Sam Lake, creative director of Remedy, talks about Quantum Break.
A new game, D4, from Swery is introduced.
Dave McCarthy from Microsoft Studios shows us a demo of Project Spark. Creating a map through various voice commands and then battling a group of goblins in co-op.
A demonstration of how Smart Glass on an iPad can control the Xbox One. You can search your friends, achievements and dive into a game.
Smart Match, as part of Smart Glass, allows you to play one game on the console while setting up a match for another game on the iPad. Once the friend joins, we have the option to switch games.
Upload Studio captures game footage live which can be edited and published and shared through the cloud.
Through a partnership with Twitch, live gaming sessions can be streamed online instantly along with in-game voice chat.
Minecraft is coming to Xbox One.
No longer limited by 100 friends and Microsoft Points are a thing of the past so purchases are now simply done with currency.
Premiere trailer of the Xbox One exclusive, Prince and Dragon.
Josh Bridge and Mike Jones from Capcom take to the stage. They introduce us to Dead Rising 3, an open world zombie game. They lead straight into a some gameplay footage after an opening sequence.
During the Dead Rising 3 gameplay, artillery support is called in from an iPhone through SmartGlass. Dead Rising 3 will be available this holiday season exclusively on Xbox One.
Next, we’re shown The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the first in the series to feature an open world, is a fantasy RPG. This is the first showing to the public of any footage.
Patrik Soderlund from EA steps onto the stage to tell us about Battlefield 4 and show some gameplay footage.
Though we’re told we’ll see some footage it doesn’t seem to start. The comedians in the crowd start shouting and we’re told we’ll have to wait till later to see the footage. Eventually though, it appears.
The first map pack for Battlefield 4 will be available on Xbox One before anywhere else.

Xbox has acquired five new studios to develop some new blockbuster games.

To end, a trailer for Titanfall is played out followed by a quick introduction and some gameplay footage. Titanfall is coming exclusive in Spring 2014.
