YouTube Unlocks 60fps Videos

After months of anticipation, YouTube has finally rolled out universal support for video playback at 60 frames per second.

After trialling a number of videos in the silky smooth framerate back in June, the video streaming giant has now opened up the option for all users. To view videos in 60fps, users must currently be using either Chrome or Safari, and they must have a HD option (720p or 1080p).

What better way to celebrate this update than by taking another look at the E3 Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End teaser; this time in glorious 1080p 60fps?
