Tales from the Borderlands Live Premiere Announced

Telltale Games and Gearbox Software have today announced that a special live premiere event for Tales from the Borderlands will be held next Monday (November 24) at the Alamo Drafthouse in Richardson, Texas.

The first episode of the studios’ new series, Zer0 Sum, is set to be screened live on the big screen in front of an audience of Borderlands’ biggest fans, who will collectively make the game’s tough decisions and dialogue choices.

Attendees are encouraged to show up to the screening in costume as their favourite Borderlands characters, with prizes and giveaways being awarded to fans with the best costumes. A limited number of free tickets to this first-of-its-kind interactive play-through are available online, and a press release has promised that no fan in attendance will leave empty-handed. The entire event will also be streamed live on Twitch.

Based on the hit Borderlands games from Gearbox Software and 2K, Tales from the Borderlands is the all-new five part game series from Telltale Games, makers of the critically acclaimed The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. Set on the unforgiving world of Pandora after the events of Borderlands 2, Tales from the Borderlands is full of the trademark humour and action the hit franchise is famous for, and follows two unique adventurers on their quest for greatness.
