Konami has followed up this weekend’s premiere of Metal Gear Online with further details on the upcoming title.
The Japanese gaming giant confirmed today that the game will be included, at no extra cost, with all copies of their upcoming 2015 stealth-action epic, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. A four-minute debut gameplay trailer for the multiplayer title was unveiled at The Game Awards in Las Vegas on Friday (December 5), leaving fans of the espionage series giddy with anticipation.
Metal Gear Online will focus on team-based combat, and features a class system so that players can define their preferred abilities and tactical approach. Key characters from the main series, including Venom Snake and Ocelot, will also make appearances in the game.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is scheduled for release on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2015.
