Coming by way of the company’s blog, Bethesda today announced that it’s preparing to hold its first ever E3 press conference.
Set to take place on June 14 of this year, fans of the studio are in a frenzy discussing what big announcements the conference will reveal. Speculation is largely centered around the long-awaited Fallout 4, rumors of which have been making their rounds on the internet for years. From leaked documents indicating the game’s setting, to trademark filings in Europe, fans have been in suspense since the most recent game in the series, Fallout: New Vegas, was released back in 2010.
Bethesda has other popular IPs that could certainly be showcased as well, including the massively popular Elder Scrolls series and the 2012 game Dishonored. At this point, however, it’s all speculation.
The conference will be held in Hollywood, two days before the expo officially opens, according to the blog post. Fans are encouraged to keep an eye out for details regarding attendance in the near future, though the event will be streamed live via Twitch.
