Naughty Dog Ramps Up Uncharted 4 Development; Promises 'Beautiful' Multiplayer Levels & More

Naughty Dog have stepped up production on their upcoming PS4 exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, if a number of recent job listings are anything to go by.

The studio’s careers site features details on all of the available positions, with the company looking for artists, designers and programmers to work on the title.

Firstly, Naughty Dog are seeking a multiplayer level layout artist, who will be responsible for assembling “beautiful looking and beautifully playable multiplayer levels from existing single player art”.

They’re also looking for an artist to “create models and assemble scenes for both architectural and organic environments”, and a single-player game designer who will be “responsible for designing and producing engaging and fun third-person action gameplay and levels”. Furthermore, they are also seeking out a multiplayer game designer, who will be tasked with “designing and producing intuitive and compelling systems ranging from player enhancement to balancing of weapons”.

And just in case you were in any doubts as to which game the listings referred to, the company’s official Twitter account tweeted out all of the listings above with the hashtag #uncharted4.

Finally, the studio posted a YouTube video to their official channel that showcases some of their most iconic works and sells the company’s ethos to prospective employees. The three-minute clip gives viewers a fascinating insight into one of the industry’s most well-respected developers, and includes contributions from co-president Evan Wells, The Last of Us and Uncharted 4’s creative director Neil Druckmann, game director Bruce Straley, and others.
