Egg-chasing fans rejoice: Rugby League Live 3 has finally received an official release date and trailer.
Publisher Tru Blu unveiled the 72-second gameplay teaser for the sports simulation title on their YouTube channel earlier today, while the Australian arm of Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed to Power Up Gaming the game’s previously rumoured launch date of September 10 on PS3 and PS4.
The Big Ant Studios-developed Rugby League Live 3 is the long-awaited follow-up to Rugby League Live 2, which received a mixed critical reception upon its launch in 2012. With the latest title set to mark the series’ debut on PS4 and Xbox One, Tru Blu has promised a number of improvements this time around.
Ahead of its launch, a total of 32 lucky Facebook fans have been selected by the game’s developers to play test the game on August 20 in New South Wales, Australia.
Rugby League Live 3, which will feature both the European Super League and Australasian NRL, will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Steam. While the Australian release for the game has been confirmed as September 10, Tru Blu declined to comment any further on the launch – leaving UK gamers in the dark about when the title will hit their store shelves.
