PES 2016 will not output at a native resolution of 1080p on Xbox One, Konami has today confirmed.
Pro Evolution Soccer European product manager Adam Bhatti announced via Twitter that the X1 version of the annual football sim would run “just shy” of 1080p, in order to keep “FPS and game quality high”.
In a series of tweets, he later clarified that the PS4 version of the title would take advantage of full HD, while the last-gen editions will run at 720p.
So to clarify = PS4 1920 x 1080, Xbox One 1360 x 1080, PS3 and Xbox 360 1280 x 720. Demo now available to judge for yourself 👍 #PES2016
