Users who have digitally pre-ordered the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain can now begin preloading the the title on PlayStation 4, in anticipation of its worldwide release on September 1, Power Up Gaming can confirm.
The full download clocks in at 26.9GB, with an initial “playable” 4GB being installed first (although this won’t be accessible until launch), and the remainder following in the background. The game will unlock when the Konami-published title officially releases at midnight ET on Tuesday. Users in the US and other parts of the world have confirmed the preload is now available in their region, although your mileage may vary depending on your location.
