Final WWE 2K16 Roster Reveal Confirms 10 More Superstars, Hints at Showcase Inclusions

2K Games has today revealed the final batch of playable characters included at launch in upcoming wrestling sim WWE 2K16, with WCW-era ‘Stunning’ Steve Austin surprisingly topping the bill.

The inclusion of Austin’s early gimmick, alongside former tag team partner, Brian Pillman, points to the inclusion of his WCW career in this year’s WWE 2K Showcase mode, which will focus extensively on the Texas Rattlesnake. The surprising appearance of Mikey Whipwreck also goes some way to suggest that ‘Stone Cold”s short tenure with ECW will also make it into the game.

With the game’s roster now finalised, NXT break-out divas Charlotte, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Bayley are all conspicuous by their absence – though it’s thought they’ll likely make it into the title via future DLC updates.

The full list of superstars revealed today is as follows:

Baron Corbin
Big E
Bray Wyatt
Brian Pillman
Colin Cassady
Enzo Amore
Jey Uso
Jimmy Uso
Kofi Kingston
