Upcoming wrestling sim WWE 2K16 will complete complete with a number of new manager abilities, according to a new gameplay clip released today.
The short teaser features Big E. facing NXT superstar Colin Cassady in one-on-one action, while Xavier Woods and Enzo Amore serve as managers for their respective teammates. As illustrated in the video, managers in the game will have the ability to retrieve weapons from underneath the ring and pass them to their clients; interfere to distract their client’s opponent and finally, grab the referee’s legs mid three-count.
New to the series is the introduction of an ‘ejection gauge’, indicating how close a manager is to being thrown out by the referee for executing one sneaky tactic too many. Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that in MyCareer mode, players controlling a manager will have the option to walk out on their client mid-match.
WWE 2K16 is scheduled to release on October 27 across current and last-gen consoles.
