A total of 75,000 people attended this past weekend’s EGX 2015 at the NEC in Birmingham, the event’s organisers have today confirmed.

Held from Thursday, September 24 to Sunday, September 27, the UK’s largest gaming expo provided attendees with access to over 200 pre-release games. If you didn’t fancy queuing several hours to play the biggest triple-A titles, however, tons of indie games, developer talks and live shows also took place.

Rupert Loman, founder and CEO of Gamer Network, said: “The stage is well-and-truly set for EGX to increase its international significance in the global video games event circuit.”

Power Up Gaming was in attendance at EGX for the third consecutive year, and we will still have a whole heap of coverage to follow.
