Monolith Soft’s upcoming Wii U role-playing game, Xenoblade Chronicles X, is slated for release early December. The official retail price is $59.99. However, Dell is offering customers a slightly lower amount of $49.99 for pre-orders – although those who are seeking the Special Edition will still have to shell out the full $89.99 for the package.
While that may seem an exaggerated amount, the Special Edition includes a fair amount of extra merchandise, including a concept art book with over 100 pages, a flash drive modelled after the in-game “Lifehold Units” that features ten music tracks taken directly from the game, and a five inch by seven inch matte art card of a painting by illustrator Takashi Kojo.
Additionally, Gamestop is now offering a 36″x24″ exclusive Xenoblade Chronicles X poster as part of its Powerup Rewards (no connection with Power Up Gaming) program. The poster costs 6,800 points.
