The most recent update to the Windows and Pocket Edition of Minecraft adds several new features to the game. First, and likely the most functional of the batch, is the ability to mine redstone dust. The dust can then be used in tandem with other materials (and more dust, of course) to create a wide range of gadgets. Next, players will now encounter temples rising from the sand in desert biomes. These temples can be explored and looted, and hold no shortage of danger.
New rabbits have also been added, and their behaviour has been adjusted slightly. Most significantly, the way they flee and interact with crops. Finally, the Biome Settler Pack I will add new settlers and new skins for players to use for their characters. These are based on certain in-game biomes.
The pack is available for $1.99.
