The first Nintendo Direct for 2016 will take place on Friday, February 26 at 3:00 p.m. GMT. This Direct will focus on Pokémon coverage in honor of the series’ 20th anniversary. The exact nature of the content has not been revealed. It has been announced, however, that The Pokémon Company is working on another project besides Pokémon Go. It can safely be assumed that Nintendo will be treating us to more information regarding Pokémon Z, the third game in the Pokémon X and Y series, but what exactly will be revealed is still a mystery.
This year’s Game Developer’s Conference will include a Pokémon Go panel lasting 30 minutes. The panel will open at 11:00 on March 14. Aside from the mobile game, Pokémon Z, and the mystery project, Pokkén Tournament and the new movie featuring Volcanion and Magearna are also possible subjects to be covered in the Direct.
