Some new footage of upcoming Wii U JRPG, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, has been revealed. In a trial play at PAX East, YouTube channel GameXplain takes us into one of the game’s dungeons, gets into a few fights, and demonstrates some of the mechanics, such as Session attacks.
Each dungeon has a theme, such as fashion, shown in the video. The mirages that roam about can be attacked for a preemptive strike in battle, after which, it’s up to the player to experiment to find enemy weaknesses. Exploiting them correctly is the key to unleashing Session attacks in which several party members act one after the other.
TMS#FE hits the stage in June.
