Yesterday, Warner Bros announced that Injustice 2, the sequel to NetherRealm’s DC comic fighting game, will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 in 2017. The announcement trailer gives us some insight into some of the characters that will feature in the game:
The trailer shows stalwarts from the previous game such as Superman, Batman, Aquaman and The Flash, and also shows Supergirl. New villains such as Atrocitus and Gorilla Grodd will also be joining the roster.
This time around, Injustice 2 offers some character customisation options. You’ll be able to tweak your character’s development, meaning that your version of of a hero or villain will play differently to someone else’s. There will also be cosmetic upgrades that will drop as loot through playing the game.
Injustice: Gods Among Us released back in 2013 on Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U. The ultimate edition was released on PS4 and Xbox One later that year.
