Rockstar Games is throwing its fan base for a loop with a possible teaser for a sequel to Red Dead Redemption; at least, that’s what the community has been speculating. The new banner for Rockstar’s official site, along with its social media outlets, is what looks to be a simple red banner with the company’s logo in the middle.
At first glance it’s not all that special, but there have already been a number of theories on why the change was made and any secrets that may or may not be hidden within the piece. Most significantly, many social media users have noted that the graphic bears a striking resemblance to the loading screens used in 2010’s Red Dead Redemption.
The developer hasn’t come forward with any statement on the matter yet, either confirming or denying it being a teaser. However, it seems unlikely that a studio like Rockstar would simply change its style for the sake of it.
