Extended gameplay footage for Crytek’s upcoming PSVR exclusive Robinson: The Journey has made its way online, as retailers around the world are apparently continuing to break the game’s official street date of November 8.
Earlier this evening, Russian YouTube user theLexUnleashed broadcast almost his entire playthrough of the PSVR title, which is available to view on demand now, and contains major spoilers (Russian commentary; English language in-game). Please note that only the first few minutes of the video are off-screen; from thereon in it is direct feed:
In Robinson: The Journey, players assume the role of a young boy who has crash-landed on a mysterious planet. The title’s core gameplay consists of exploring The Journey’s wondrous environments and tagging objects of interest.
Developer Crytek has put the estimated playtime for the game at three-to-five hours. While it has an official MSRP of $59.99, numerous retailers, including Amazon, have been offering The Journey for pre-order at $39.99 (Prime users save an additional 20 percent).
