The critically acclaimed first-person adventure game Gone Home has today been made available for free to all PC users.
Developer The Fullbright Company has put the title up for download via indie self-publishing platform itch.io, where it will remain free of charge until Monday at 8AM.
Gone Home is a point-and-click adventure game set in 1995. Players assume the the role of a young woman, Kaitlin, as she returns to her family home, which is mysteriously empty. Players must search for clues about where everyone has gone, and piece together the title’s compelling narrative for themselves in the process.
The game was originally released for PC back in 2013; a PS4 port followed earlier this year. Power Up Gaming gave the console version of Gone Home an impressive 9.5/10 rating in our review.
