WWE 2K17 today received two previously announced DLC packs – although it seems one of them was released prematurely by the game’s publisher.
The $8.99 Legends Pack, which includes superstars Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, Eddie Guerrero, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Sycho Sid and Tatanka – along with their associated attires, moves and entrances – was made available for a short time earlier today on the PlayStation and Xbox digital storefronts, but now seems to have been removed. Update: You can now view the wrestlers in action.
The PS Store listing for the downloadable expansion provided a release date of November 22, so it appears 2K Games pushed the button for the content a week too early. At the time of writing, users who managed to download the Legends Pack prior to its removal still have access to its grapplers; there’s been no word from 2K on whether they intend on locking down these superstars until next week.
In related news, the $9.99 NXT Enhancement Pack is also available today for WWE 2K17. The DLC includes superstars Apollo Crews, Nia Jax and Shinsuke Nakamura, along with a 50 percent boost in points while competing at NXT during MyCareer. It was originally included as a pre-order incentive for those who purchased the NXT edition of the game.
