Hidden Path Entertainment

The co-developer of the popular FPS Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is working on a new game titled Witchblood, according to a recent trademark filing.

According to the WIPO Global Brand Database, Hidden Path Entertainment filed for the ‘Witchblood’ trademark in the US on November 10. The trademark application was made in NICE classes 9 and 42, covering “computer game programs; downloadable software programs for playing computer games and video games over the Internet”, and “entertainment services, namely, providing an online computer game”, respectively.

No further information on the title can be gleaned from the application, although we definitely have confirmation that it will support online play.

In addition to CS: GO, Hidden Path Entertainment have also been responsible for creating the Defensive Grid series and providing development support on Valve’s Left 4 Dead 2.
