Battlefield 1 was the best-selling video game of October, according to the NPD Group’s latest report.
Despite mixed reviews, Mafia III took second place in the sales charts compiled by the analytics firm, while Gears of War 4 took third. Titanfall 2 managed to creep in at ninth place, although it didn’t release until the end of the month.
The full chart, based on dollar sales across PC and consoles, is as follows:
- Battlefield 1
- Mafia III
- Gears of War 4
- FIFA 17
- NBA 2K17
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
- WWE 2K17
- Civilization VI
- Titanfall 2
- Madden NFL 17
It’s worth noting that Gears 4 and Skyrim: Special Edition do not include digital sales, while the rest of the titles in the list do.
In related news, the Xbox One sold more units in the month, although the PS4 Slim Uncharted 4 bundle was the best-selling console SKU of the month.
