Tripwire Interactive has today released a brand new trailer highlighting the customization options for its upcoming tactical FPS, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.
Players can choose between two opposing sides, the United States Military and the Vietnamese Resistance Fighters. Each side has their own unique characteristics, allowing for customization of the characters varying from headgear, uniform variants, and facial items, all with an authentic reflection on the style of the Vietnam War. The more each players progress in the game, the more items they will unlock.
Alongside the highlight of conventional warfare verses guerrilla warfare, the game will most likely give an interesting insight as to how the warfare of that time period actually looked.
The sequel to Rising Storm, PC Gamer’s 2013 Multiplayer Game of the Year, Rising Storm 2: Vietnam will be published by Tripwire Interactive, and is currently being developed by Antimatter Games, the same team responsible for developing Rising Storm. This title has not yet been rated by the ESRB, but Tripwire Interactive anticipates a rating of “M” for Mature. The game is slated for release in early 2017.
