Users who pre-order the ultimate edition of Halo Wars 2 will be able to play the included Halo Wars: Definitive Edition from December 20, according to the Microsoft Store.
While the Creative Assembly and 343 Studios-developed Halo Wars 2 does not release until February 21, 2017, eligible users will have plenty of time to get reacquainted with the real-time strategy series from next month.
Halo Wars was originally released for Xbox 360 back in 2009. The game’s Definitive Edition is a remaster of the original, featuring improved graphics, additional achievements and all of its DLC.
