Chinese retailers have today opened up pre-orders for three new PS4 SKUs, each of which are exclusive to the country.
Retailing at 2,299 Yuan, which is equivalent to roughly $330 USD, each New Year Collection bundle includes four games, a three-month PlayStation Plus subscription and an extra DualShock 4 controller in either gold, silver or red. The gold and silver editions will debut on December 15, whilst the red bundle is set to be released on December 31.
After being banned in the country in 2000 amid government concerns over their impact on the physical and mental development of children, video games consoles were finally legalised again in the country in 2015. After protracted negotiations with the Chinese government, Sony debuted the PS4 in China in March of last year.
