Microsoft has kicked off the new year by temporarily reducing the official MSRP of its Xbox One S bundles to $279.
US customers can save $20 off the console’s regular price through to the end of the week at participating retailers, including Amazon, the official Microsoft Store and a number of high street stores.
The offer follows the Xbox One S’s holiday promotion – which saw consumers receive even greater savings – and a permanent MSRP reduction is expected in the near future as Microsoft looks to regain ground on Sony’s PS4, which was the best-selling system of 2016.
