A localisation of The Last Guardian is set to release in mainland China later this month, it has today been confirmed.
A number of Chinese retailers have made the title available for pre-order, with an official release date of January 19. According to these listings, the game will feature English audio, with the option for either Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese subtitles.
The localisation is notable as being one of the fastest triple-A titles to hit mainland China, and is a sign of the country’s growing acceptance of console games as a whole.
After a decade in development, genDESIGN and SIE Japan’s The Last Guardian was released in the West last month to positive reviews.
