N64 Classic F-Zero X Hits Wii U Virtual Console in North America Tomorrow

The classic Nintendo 64 racing title F-Zero X is finally scheduled to hit the Wii U via the Virtual Console in North America tomorrow, several months after launching in Europe.

The futuristic racer, developed by Nintendo’s EAD division, originally released in 1998 to critical acclaim. It was the first entry in the popular F-Zero franchise to feature 3D graphics, and even saw a Japan-exclusive expansion kit released for the Nintendo 64DD.

The Virtual Console release of F-Zero X is rated E for Everyone, and will be priced at $9.99.
