Hype surrounding the recently released Gravity Rush 2 has had a knock-on effect for its remastered predecessor, with the resale price for the limited edition PS4 title trending at over 500 percent higher than several weeks ago.
According to data collected from online auction site eBay over the past four weeks, the average resale price of a new and sealed physical copy of Gravity Rush Remastered – which was released in January of last year as an Amazon and GameStop exclusive in the US – has risen from $20 to over $100.
Needless to say, the two retailers in question have both sold out of their allocation of the SIE Studio Japan-developed action-adventure title, with no more expected to be stocked any time soon.
It’s not all doom and gloom for fans of the series, however: the title is also available digitally, via the PlayStation Store, for $29.99.
Gravity Rush 2 was released in North America and Japan earlier this week, and will officially launch in the UK later today. Look out for our full review in the coming days.
