Rez Infinite Limited Edition Users Get Free Replacement Cover After Quality Complaints

You may remember that last month, we reported on the delayed release of iam8bit’s limited physical run of Rez Infinite for PS4, and the quality control issues the packaging of the game brought with it.

This week, the company has offered a make-good to affected consumers: users can request a free replacement cover, which is of much better quality and closer to the promised artwork than the final product that shipped last month.

In an email sent out earlier to purchasers, iam8bit explained that it had worked with developer Enhance Games and designer Cory Schmitz to create the new cover, which is made up of “thicker paper stock” with a “premium coating and a holographic foil imprint” of the game’s logo. Users were provided with a unique redemption code and link to the company’s website in order to claim their free replacement.
