After a long wait from fans of the explosive franchise, Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass has finally been announced.
It happened quite unexpectedly at the Reboot Develop Conference in the form of a teaser trailer. Developed by Croteam, we haven’t seen a major instalment in the series (aside from the VR title that released last year) since 2011’s Serious Sam 3.
The teaser trailer features main protagonist Sam riding down a quiet country lane to the beat of heavy rock music when he is set upon by a horde of aliens and there is a cut to the game’s title. Check out the trailer for yourself below…
Whilst it’s not much to go on, it looks like this title will be a return to form and Croteam has confirmed we will hear more at the upcoming E3 2018 in June. The game also has a Steam page to keep an eye on for any additional information in the future. Let us know in the comments below if you’re excited about Serious Sam 4.
