Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now and has received all the praise that we expected. Now, we can turn our focus to the game’s online component. A new leak suggests that the multiplayer online portion of Red Dead Redemption 2 will allow players to duel one each other. The leak also reveals that players will be able to report one another to the law.
Input parameters of the game reveal activities that are not present as of right now. It is more than likely that these activities will be available in Red Dead Redemption 2 Online. We know that Properties, Adversary Modes, Seamless PvE mode and Vehicles will be part of the online aspect of the game. New information, leaked by RockstarIntel, revealed that players will be able to take part in Dueling, Deathmatches, Parley, and more.
The input parameters mention multiplayer mode, but that is not all. They also mention spectating different players, which could be a feature in the online part of the game. We also see “Race Respawn” which could indicate that players will be able to race against each another on horseback. The input parameters are as follows:
- INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_RESPAWN, INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_DUEL,
- INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_PARLEY, INPUT_MULTIPLAYER_DEAD_FEUD,
We also noticed other things like Feud and Leader Feud and Predator Ability. We are not sure what these refer to right now but if we were to take a guess, we would say that Predator Ability was some kind of ultimate move that you could pull off in Red Dead Redemption 2 Online.
While the leak seems to be legit, it is worth mentioning that what the leak actually represents is nothing more than educated guesses and speculation. There is a chance that these things mean something completely different. Other than that, even if these input parameters are there, that does not mean that all of these things will actually have made it into the final version Red Dead Redemption 2 Online.
The hype around Red Dead Redemption 2 Online is real, so stay tuned for more information and news regarding the game. In the meantime, be sure to check out the title’s companion app.
