Crackdown 3 Release Sooner Than Expected, Requirements Revealed

The release of Crackdown 3 is something fans around the world have been waiting for. The game has been delayed a few times and we thought that it would release in March 2019. Microsoft, however, has just confirmed that the Crackdown 3 release will come sooner than expected, being available starting February 15, 2019.

This is great news for the gaming community that has been looking forward to playing the game. Crackdown 3 was playable at X018 for the first time, with Microsoft also revealing a multiplayer trailer of the game that you can check out below:

Crackdown 3 is a Game Pass title and will be available to Xbox subscribers at launch. Microsoft has also announced that Gold members can download the original game and keep it for free. The free game will come with enhancements for Xbox One X. The Crackdown 3 PC requirements have also been revealed and they are as follows:

Minimum PC Requirements 

  • OS: Windows 10 version 14393.0 or higher
  • Processor: Intel i5 3470 | AMD FX-6300
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Geforce 750 Ti | Radeon R7 260X, 2GB RAM
  • DirectX: DirectX 12 API, Hardware Feature Level 11

Recommended PC Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 version 14393.0 or higher
  • Processor: Intel i5 4690 | AMD FX-8350
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Geforce 970 or Geforce 1060 | Radeon R9 290X or Radeon RX 480,
  • 4GB RAM
  • DirectX: DirectX 12 API, Hardware Feature Level 11

The requirements for Crackdown 3 PC are fair and if you have a relatively modern PC then you should be able to run the game at 1080p 60 FPS. Running the game at a higher resolution will be a bit challenging. We will be able to learn more about that as we get closer to launch.

Crackdown 3 has a lot of hype around it and it is about time that we got a solid release date. Fans will be pretty excited to be able to get the title in a few weeks and it will be interesting to see what the final version will be like. For more information regarding the game, stay tuned.
