Mortal Kombat 11 Roster

Mortal Kombat 11 has been officially revealed and while we have only seen a couple of characters NetherRealm Studios is just getting started and there are plenty of other characters coming in the upcoming days. Developers have confirmed that there will be a live stream later this month and it is possible that we might get to see some more characters that are part of the Mortal Kombat 11 roster.

Some of the characters that we have seen in the official reveal include Skarlet and Baraka. We also have older characters that are making a comeback like Raiden, Sonya Blade, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero. The reveal trailer also showed that players that pre-order the game will get Shao Kahn as a bonus.

During a live stream, we got to see the grid that will be used as the character selection screen. It shows that characters of the Mortal Kombat 11 roster that have already been revealed. We have also seen the blank spaces where other characters will be placed. This confirms how many characters there will be, at least at launch.

Mortal Kombat 11 Roster Size

We can see that there are 25 open slots. One of those slots will be filled by Shao Kahn. This confirms that more characters will be added to the Mortal Kombat 11 roster in the future. We do not know when these characters will be added but it is more than likely that you will have a complete roster at launch.

Mortal Kombat 11 Roster: Confirmed Characters So Far

We have seen a couple of characters in the reveal trailer and here we are going to look into the confirmed characters in the Mortal Kombat 11 roster so far.

Geras

Geras is a new character and from what we have seen he is going to be very brutal indeed. We have seen him go up against Raiden and other characters in the reveal trailer. Geras is a new character, so there is little that we know about him but you can check out the reveal trailer below:

Skarlett and Sonya Blade

UFC and WWE superstar Rhonda Rousey will be voicing the character of Sonya Blade who is well-known in the Mortal Kombat series. The series is known to have plenty of female characters and we could also get Kitana, Mileena and Jade in the future.

Baraka

Baraka is one of the many characters the fans are excited about and his return in Mortal Kombat 11 is well received. Baraka is brutal and unpredictable and was first introduced in Mortal Kombat II as one of Shao Kahn’s warriors.

Kabal

We got a glimpse of what appears to be Kabal. the former Black Dragon member is one of the most demanded characters and his appearance in Mortal Kombat 11 roster will make plenty of fans happy.

Liu Kang

Liu Kang is back and it seems that we will see him in the story mode of the upcoming game. Kang has always been one of the major characters in the franchise and seeing him back is much appreciated and I am sure that the fans are going to be very happy indeed.

Kronika

Kronika is another new character in the upcoming game and it seems like she is the goddess of time. While we have seen very little of her but it seems that she will be a great addition to the Mortal Kombat 11 roster.

Other Familiar Characters

Older characters that we hold near and dear to our hearts are also making a comeback as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 roster. These characters include Scorpion, Raiden, and Sub-Zero. You can check out these familiar faces in the video included below:
