Pokemon Sword and Shield Coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield have been announced by Nintendo and these are going to be the new RPG Pokemon games coming to the Nintendo Switch in late 2019. While there is no confirmed release date, Nintendo and Gamefreak did talk about different aspects of the game and we have some information regarding what the game will have to offer.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are new games in the franchise and will be based in a new region of the world which is called the Galar region. This region has a lot of variation, there are highlands, hills, mountains and snowy terrains. As this is a new region you will be able to find new Pokemon as well.

While we do not know about all the new Pokemon that are going to be part of the games, we do know about the starter Pokemon which you can check out below:

The games are available for pre-order right now and they are officially described as follows:

Nintendo also announced that there will be more Pokemon related announcements later on, so stay tuned for more information and updates regarding the brand and the upcoming games.
