Dark Souls developer FromSoftware has made plenty of great games such as Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. Now, the developer is working on a new game that will be the biggest one yet and sources have revealed the game is being made in collaboration with George R.R. Martin.
George R.R. Martin is the writer of The Game of Thrones series, A Song of Fire and Ice. He might be a consulting writer working on the game, we are not sure about his role but all this is very interesting indeed. FromSoftware just released Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and it seems that the developer has started working on its new title.
These reports have come from multiple sources but the most trustworthy is from journalist Liam Robertson who is well-known for reporting such things. He mentioned that the game is being published by Bandai Namco. The game will feature an open-world in which there will be different kingdoms.
Once a player has taken over a kingdom he will be able to use a new ability. There are several kingdoms and players will have the ability to choose which one they want to take over first. This is very interesting indeed and sounds like something similar to The Game of Thrones.
While this information does come from a reliable source, you should still take it with a grain of salt until we get a confirmation from FromSoftware or George R.R. Martin. I am sure that if the devs are working on a game then it is pretty early in development and if that is indeed true then it is going to be a while before we hear something about this game.
