Red Dead Redemption 2 PC has been rumored for a while now and new reports claim that it is going to be announced later this month and that it could be exclusive to the Epic Store. Fans are not happy that games are only available on the Epic Store and we have already seen the backlash with Borderlands 3.
Fans are not pleased at all and with the rumor that Red Dead Redemption 2 PC is also going to be exclusive to the Epic Store, I am sure that Rockstar is going to get some hate as well.
When it was leaked that Borderlands 3 was going to be exclusive to the Epic Store, people started review-bombing the previous games. Steam did counter the issue relatively quickly. The following is what Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford had to say regarding the matter:
Ironically, that this misuse is possible and that Steam has no interest in correct this misuse makes me kind of happy about 2K’s decision [to release Borderlands 3 on the Epic Games Store] and makes me want to reconsider Gearbox Publishing’s current posture on the platform,
While the leaker mentioned that the game will be revealed on April 22nd and that Red Dead Redemption 2 PC will be released on July 9th, you should take this with a grain of salt and wait for the official announcement from Rockstar. Keeping in mind the dates that have been provided we will not have to wait too long for confirmation.
While Red Dead Redemption 2 has already released on consoles and most players that are interested in the game might have already played it, you can rest assured that Red Dead Redemption 2 PC is going to have some features that console players do not have at their disposal.
