We have been hearing reports about Rockstar games working on GTA 6 and Bully 2. New reports claim that the games could be revealed at E3 2019. An employee at Rockstar mentioned that fans will be blindsided at E3 2019. When asked for specifics, he mentioned that he did not know about the details.
The Rockstar employee also mentioned that the team is working on a landing page for Take-Two interactive so fans can expect to see something that has not been announced yet. These comments have been deleted since then but nothing can be hidden from the internet. You can check out the comments in the image included below:
This is not the first time that we are getting similar reports. We recently talked about Rockstar working on multiple projects. Bully 2 is not expected to be a massive game. It is more than likely that Rockstar has a small team working on Bully 2 while the bulk of the resources are allocated to developing GTA 6.
Grand Theft Auto series is one of the most respected and well-made series in gaming history. GTA 5 is still doing pretty good keeping in mind that the game came out in 2013. So, you can imagine why so many people are excited about GTA 6. We have also heard reports that Red Dead Redemption 2 could be remastered for the next-generation consoles. Keeping in mind that these consoles are going to release at the end of 2020, talking about them at E3 2019 does not really make any sense.
Do take this information with a grain salt. Until we get official word from Rockstar nothing is for sure. It is likely that Rockstar is working on a new IP. It has been a while since the developer launched something new, so it would not be surprising.
Rockstar was just accused of sexual harassment and this is a major concern. We have yet to get an official statement from the developer regarding the matter.
