Cyberpunk 2077 Will Keep Players Glued To The Screen – CDPR

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 has got a release date now and CDPR is talking about the game more openly.  The developer mentioned that the story is going to be immersive and that it could make the player cry. Lead quest designer Paweł Sasko mentioned that it is CDPR’s goal to make the player feel all kinds of emotions.

Sasko mentioned that the story is going to be like The Witcher 3 and that players will feel anger, sorrow and relief as they progress through the game. Here is what he had to say regarding the game:

Believe me guys, what we are doing here – we are going to make you cry, there’s no other way. Believe me, we’ll do everything to just grab the player and keep them glued to the screen.

Plenty of details regarding Cyberpunk 2077 have been revealed. The developer talked about how the game is going to have a lot of choices. There is going to be a lot of flexibility when it comes to how you take on a certain mission. You could go in guns blazing or you could choose to talk things through. CDPR has already confirmed that you can beat the game without killing anyone.

A major portion of the company is working on Cyberpunk 2077 but there is a small team working on an unannounced mobile game. This could be related to Cyberpunk. We are not sure at this time. Sasko further went on to mention the following:

I think there’s gonna be joy, there’s gonna be tears, and there’s gonna be laughter, and yeah there’s gonna be anger. We are going to give you all that, because this is what we are doing. Like that’s one of my main goals – I wanna move the players, like they are going to feel it so hard, and we are coming for you.

CDPR is working on finishing Cyberpunk 2077 right now but we could get expansions for the game down the line. The developer is also interested in other features like mod support. It will be interesting to see what the final game is like and what it has to offer.
