WWE 2K20 Adds Women to Career Mode

WWE 2K20 Women Career Mode

We recently wrote about some of the features that we would like to see in WWE 2K20. One of those features was a career mode for women. Sure enough, days later, 2K has listened to the fans and has announced that female superstars will be included in the career mode of WWE 2K20.

This is huge because this is the first time that women have been included in the career mode since the game first came out.

2K revealed both male and female character models and a behind the scenes look at what they will look like when the game comes out. Very exciting stuff for people that have played the previous games.

In another surprise reveal, Becky Lynch will be the star on the cover. Roman Reigns will be with her but it does make her the first time that a woman is featured as the cover star. Chris Snyder, Vice President of Marketing for 2K, talked about the two starts and here is what he had to say about them:

Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns embody passion, determination and perseverance, and they’re both major game changers within the larger WWE landscape. They are the spirit of WWE 2K20, which is going to introduce changes requested by our fans. They asked for female-driven MyCAREER and 2K Showcase offerings, and we’re giving them just that, as well as streamlined controls and our brand new WWE 2K20 Originals. We can’t wait to reveal more details soon.

2K announced a deluxe edition of the game that comes with all sorts of goodies. You can buy the base game as well if you are not interested in the additional content. The following is what you get with the deluxe edition of the game:

  • WWE 2K20 SmackDown! 20th Anniversary Digital Bonus Content
  • WWE 2K20 MyPLAYER Kick Start
  • WWE 2K20 Accelerator
  • Additional digital content to be announced at a later date

Let us know what you think about women being added to the career mode of WWE 2K20 and whether or not you are interested in playing the game when it comes out on October 22nd, 2019.
