FIFA 20 Gameplay Is Disappointing, Nothing New

FIFA 20 gameplay was shown at FIFA eWorldCup tournament for the first time and I have to say that it was very disappointing indeed. If you did not reach the 20 you could easily mistake the game for FIFA 19 because of how similar both look. If you are not a hardcore FIFA player then finding any significant difference is going to be tricky.

Off the bat, you will notice the slower pace of gameplay. That is something that players will need to get used to. Defending does feel a bit more rewarding, which is a small silver lining I guess. I am not sure how I feel about the slower pace of the game. It will be interesting to see what the fans have to say and how they feel about this change.

FIFA influencers like MattHDGamer, Calfreezy, Mike La Belle and Cacho played the game but in case you missed it you can check out the gameplay trailer below:

The game does have some new dribbling and skill moves and also has some new animations which players will appreciate. New mechanics for set-pieces are also part of FIFA 20 but we did not get to see that in the demo. The bottom line is that if you are a casual player then you will hardly be able to tell the difference. The graphics are pretty much the same and though the pace of the game is a bit slower, you cannot tell the difference between FIFA 20 and FIFA 19 just by looking at the gameplay.

The Beta of the game is expected to be announced soon so you should check it out if you can. It will give you an idea of what the game has to offer before you finalize your decision to buy it.

We also did a feature on whether FIFA should be released bi-annually, so be sure to check that out if you are interested.

Let us know what you think about FIFA 20 and whether or not you are interested in buying the game when it comes out
