Diablo 4 Has Been Officially Announced

Oh HELL yeah!

After a bunch of leaks over the past few days, and the train-wreck that was BlizzCon 2018, Blizzard have officially unveiled Diablo 4.

So far PS4, Xbox One and PC are confirmed platforms which was to be expected. No mention of PS5, Project Scarlett or Nintendo Switch however. We imagine a next generation port could be planned but we will be surprised if the Switch gets any demon love this time around.

The Barbarian, Sorceress and Druid are confirmed as returning classes. No news yet on other character classes but here is a brief list of others that could return, although we expect some new classes too.

Unconfirmed but also possible:

  • Rogue
  • Amazon
  • Necromancer
  • Assassin/Demon Hunter
  • Paladin/Crusader
  • Monk
  • Witch Doctor

No release date as of yet, but as PS4 and Xbox One are confirmed platforms, and are to be replaced in 12 months time, we at least have that as a window. We’ll be amazed if we need to wait until E3 to learn more.

We’ll post a much more detailed piece in the next day or so focusing on all of BlizzCon 2019’s news, but until then we’re going to post both the gameplay trailer and the cinematic trailer for your viewing pleasure.
