Square Enix are going out of their way to ensure that the launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake happens when they intended it to. In a recent statement on Twitter, the company announced that the shipments of the game bound for Australia and Europe have been sent early. The game is due to launch on April 10, and they’re making that happen, even if it means you get it early.

With the shipping people giving some pretty poor dates to Square Enix, they made the decision to just ship everything early. They hope that this means that everyone who pre-ordered the game will get it on time, and that stores will have it on shelves for curbside pickups when it’s needed. There’s a slight issue that some people might spoil the game, but we’ll get to that in a second. The main thing that you should take from this news is that a game developer and publisher, one of the largest ones in the world, is going out of their way to ensure that you get the game you want to play on the date that they said it would be out. The game has been delayed too many times already, and it would have been so much easier to just delay it again. I’m so glad that these guys are doing this.
Don’t Stream It Early
With everyone being stuck inside, we’re all streaming and watching streams more. this isn’t a bad thing, but it does mean that there’s more competition to become the next Ninja. The truth is, streaming Final Fantasy VII Remake won’t make you a big streamer. You’ll probably ruin those moments of unexpected new content for most people still waiting on their copies of the game, and no one will enjoy it.
If you get the game early, play it for yourself. The best thing to do would be post teasers on Twitter. Then you can root others on as they get closer, giving them false clues so that they’re even more surprised by that new piece of gameplay that wasn’t in the original.
In an effort to get some good news in front of your eyes, we’re trying to cover as much of it as we can in this extremely tough time for everyone. We hope you liked this look at everyone getting Final Fantasy VII Remake on time, and if you did you can check out more here.
