Hitman 3’s March Roadmap Looks Brilliant

Last week, Io Interactive unveiled the March roadmap for Hitman 3. I have been pretty excited to see this since the month began because I’m devouring all of this new content as soon as it’s released. March is particularly exciting because it’s got some brand new stuff for Hitman 3, as well as some of the content that has been promised by the developer. While I know that some players won’t appreciate the roadmap, it’s something that I’ve been looking at every day since it came out.

As with February, we have two sets of Featured Contracts being added to the game. I don’t know about you, but I really enjoyed the last sets we got. They were intelligent and genuinely challenging. Getting a Silent Assassin rank in them was almost impossible. That’s the kind of content I love in Hitman 3, and sometimes I feel like the stuff from the developers is actually too easy.

Speaking of easy, the first new Escalation, The Lesley Celebration, is exactly that. While the first level takes a bit of figuring out, the second two are a breeze. There’s a definite disconnect between the level of difficulty there, but at least we now finally have an Escalation set in Berlin.

Berlin will also be getting the final Deluxe Escalation later this month. I fully expect that to be easy too though because it’s from Io Interactive. We’ll have to wait and see what it’s like. Unfortunately, the Elusive Target this month is yet another rerun of an old one. While I get that those older Contracts are good, I think everyone would appreciate some new Elusive Contracts.

Finally, we’re getting a seasonal event for the game. This is something that I haven’t seen before, so I’m excited to see what it feels like when you’re playing. The mission itself will make us pick up new items in a revamped Berlin location and use them on specific targets. I can see this being quite confusing, but I also think it’ll be a lot of fun. Io Interactive needs to mix up the formula more in Hitman 3, and this should be enough to do just that.
