Hitman 3 Featured Contracts Are Better From The Community

The latest batch of Featured Contracts to come to Hitman 3 were made by the community, and you can tell the difference. I’m not saying that press or content creators don’t know how to make good Contracts. They most certainly do, but they also play a lot more games than the dedicated fan base. Therefore, the community makes better Contracts, and never has this been more evident than in the latest batch that dropped in Hitman 3. I spent a full week trying to figure out the Silent Assasin run for one of the latest Featured Contracts, and it nearly killed me.

I think that Io Interactive is making a smart move with Season of Envy. The first batch of Featured Contracts will be from the developer itself. Three new Contracts will come from them, and since they’re the ones who made the game, I think they’ll be pretty bloody good. If you think about it, all of the Contracts in Hitman 3’s story are pretty great, so I have big expectations around the Featured Contracts the developer is making.  I hope to see the theme of Envy bleeding through in every way possible.

The second batch of Featured Contracts for the season is coming from the Hitman Community again. As should be clear by now, the last batch was so good that I have even higher hopes for this one. I don’t know who can top the three we got last time, but I know for a fact that it’s going to be possible. More content and even more restricted optional objectives is only going to make for more challenging runs, particularly if you like getting Silent Assassin.

This is the crux of what makes Featured Contracts so good. I don’t know if the players making them try to get a Silent Assassin rating, but chasing it is the best journey I get to go on in the game twice per month. It’s really difficult to get at the best of times, but these Featured Contracts just make it incredibly difficult, and I can’t wait to see what the community comes up with to fit the theme of envy.
