Codemasters have announced the release of what is undoubtedly the coolest and most expensive special edition video game in history.
The ultra-exclusive GRID 2: Mono Edition promises to deliver "the ultimate racing experience for a gamer", coming complete with an actual 170 mph BAC Mono supercar (featuring exclusive GRID 2 livery); a Playstation 3 console; a day at the BAC factory; and of course, a copy of the game itself along with a host of other goodies.
The pricetag? A cool £125,000. But hey, at least it comes with free delivery.
BAC Mono project director, Neill Briggs, said: "BAC is immensely proud and excited at the release of GRID 2: Mono Edition; a game which offers an opportunity for one lucky person to own a truly unique supercar.
"Codemasters has developed a stunning game which focuses on delivering the ultimate driving experience and Mono is the ultimate expression of this, in both the real and virtual worlds."
A PR stunt it may be; but a creative one nonetheless. GRID 2 is set for release next Friday, May 31 (May 28 in North America) on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
