Next-gen GTA V release date announced

Grand Theft Auto V is finally coming to the Xbox One and Playstation 4 on November 18, according to a new trailer released by Rockstar Games on Friday.

The trailer demonstrates impressive improvements in terms of graphics, but an official announcement from Rockstar promises a significant amount of improvements in other areas of the game as well. For example, players can expect denser traffic, more vehicles, and even better weather effects. Online, the player cap for worlds is being raised to 30, which should make for some very chaotic fun.

Owners of previous-gen versions of the game aren’t left out either. The new release will include large amounts of brand new content to make it worth a second purchase, including new game modes and a host of exclusive content for returning players. And for those wondering, players will be able to import their GTA online characters to either of the two new platforms; so you can take your Xbox 360 character to your Playstation 4, for example.

Rockstar also announced that the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V has been delayed until January 27, 2015.
