Project CARS Delayed Until April

Project CARS has been delayed for a second time, developer Slightly Mad Studios has today confirmed.

The Bandai Namco-published racing game will now release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 2. Originally scheduled for release in November last year, the title was pushed back to March, and will now arrive several weeks later than planned.

In a press release, the publisher blamed the delay on the need to make ‘final adjustments’ to the game. Ian Bell, the head of Slightly Mad Studios, added: “Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project CARS.

“But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April.”

Project CARS boasts the largest track roster of any recent racing game, and promises a huge variety of motorsports to play, a freeform and authentic career mode, as well as ‘world-class graphics and handling’.
