WWE 2K16 Receives Expanded Create-A-Superstar Options

The developers of annualised pro wrestling franchise WWE 2K have given gamers a glimpse of some of the expanded options that will be on offer in this year’s ever-popular Create-A-Superstar mode.

A short video, posted earlier on the official WWE2K16 development YouTube channel, demonstrates that players will now have the ability to change the material properties of their selected custom grappler’s attire, on a per-item basis. Cloth, matte, vinyl, satin and metallic effects are all available, allowing for even greater levels of customisation than ever before.

The 13-second clip, which you can view below, uses a created superstar’s mask to demonstrate the new feature, which is expected to be available for all individual items of clothing.

If customisation isn’t really your thing, and you’d rather play as the real deal, then have no fear: publishers 2K Games have announced that over 120 ‘unique’ playable characters will make up the game’s base roster this time around, not including the addition of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator as a pre-order incentive.

WWE 2K16 is due for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PS3 and Xbox 360 in North America on October 27 (October 30 in the UK).
